  1. Search by key term
    1. A hyphen (-) separates Make and Model Name. No other special characters exist.
    2. Wildcard: Any search on Make/Model Name or Popular Name.
      A wildcard is automatically inserted before and after the key term.
      • Entering the term "BELL" the results screen will show both BELL and BELLANCA. 
      • Entering the term "172" the results screen will show 172, 172RG, F172, FP172, FR172, P172, R172, MI172.
      • Entering the term "SKYHAWK" the results screen will show both SKYHAWK and SKYHAWK POWERMATIC. 
    3. Unique Searches:
      To search a unique Make/Model Name or Popular Name insert a hyphen (-) before the first character or following the last character in the key term. The hyphen (-) replaces the wildcard returning only unique Make/Model Names or Popular Names.
      • Entering the term "BELL-" will return "BELL" Makes and not BELLANCA.
      • Entering "-172" the results screen will show 172 and 172RG.
    4. Special Characters:
      An aircraft Make/Model Name does not include special characters such as dashes, hyphens, ampersand, or  asterisks inserting a special character will result in zero valid values.
      • Entering the term "BELL*" the results screen will show zero valid values.
      • Entering the term "C-130" the results screen will show zero valid values.
  2. Search by Make/Model Name
    1. Make/Model Name drop down list:
      Use to search a unique Make/Model Name combination. Searches do not insert a wildcard. A hyphen (-) separates the Make name and Model name.
